Isildur1 secures another Showdown victory

While most of the big names in poker are competing for bracelets in Las Vegas, Viktor ‘isildur1’ Blom is forced to settle for dominating his opponents online.

The young Swedish pro recently defeated high-stakes online player Terj ‘Terken89’ Augdal for his full buy-in of $150,000.  The win means that Blom has won 9 out of the 11 PokerStars Superstars Showdown match-ups that have taken place. His previous opponents have included such high profile players as Tony G and Daniel Negreanu.

This latest win comes at a time when most of poker’s elite players will be in Las Vegas for the WSOP 2011. Blom remains unable to take part himself as he remains under 21, which is the minimum legal age for gambling within the US.
