paddypowerpoker.com confirms Irish Masters structure and launches outright winner betting market
paddypowerpoker.com has released details of the tournament structure for the Irish Masters, the headline event of the upcoming Irish Winter Festival in Dublin, Ireland.
The tournament, which begins on 25 October at Citywest Hotel, will feature a 10,000 starting stack and 60 minute blind levels, similar to the structure of the Irish Open main event held in March 2008.
“Our vision for the Irish Winter Festival has always been that of affordable poker tournaments allowing for lots of play and offering some seriously chunky prizepools”, said Paddy Power, Communications Manager for paddypowerpoker.com.
“The tournament structure for the Irish Masters is one that players will love, with a big starting stack and hour-long blinds. With so many chips at each player’s disposal, we expect a lot of cunning play; losing one big pot won’t necessarily mean a player will be in too much trouble!”
The Irish Masters “Outright Winner” betting market has been launched on paddypower.com, with Ciaran ‘Big C’ O’Leary installed as joint-favourite alongside a group including Julian Gardner and Abel Meijberg.
