Being Sam Holden to air on The Poker Channel
A documentary covering November Niner and loveable Brit Sam Holden’s recent Main Event journey will air on The Poker Channel on April 9, giving viewers a unique insight into what it feels like to play for poker’s ultimate prize.
Holden collected just shy of $1m for his ninth place finish, and to document his exciting journey, Spade Social in partnership with 888poker has developed an all-access series capturing the emotions and action as Holden heads to Las Vegas to take on the world’s best.
According to 888poker, the documentary will give viewers a front row seat to Holden’s life on and off the tables, diving into his skills playing live and online, so you can better understand how a million dollar poker professional is made.
Being Sam Holden also explores how a new breed of highly educated, young poker players are changing the game and what influences technology and social media have had on the sport.
