Colin Wu from Dundee has won the £100,000 Grosvenor UK Poker Tour Champion of Champions tournament at the G Casino in Luton. The prestigious event had 125 entrants, all of whom had been invited after winning GUKPT tournaments this season. Wu beat out big names such as Dave Colclough, Tony Cascarino, Nik Persaud and Sunny Chattha on his way to the title. The £125,000 prize money for the tournament was all donated by Grosvenor casinos and online partner Blue Square Poker.

The Champion Of Champions event also saw an end to the hotly-contested battle to be GUKPT Player Of The Year, with Richard Gryko outscoring Martin Silke by just half a point to claim the £25,000 first prize. The GUKPT will return for another full tour in 2010.
