It’s back! Full Tilt’s major online series, FTOPS, is starting this weekend, with a stack of huge guarantees and the widest and most exciting range of tournament formats ever.
The first of the thirty-nine scheduled events takes place this Sunday, August 4 and is a $215 No-Limit Hold’em affair with a $500k guarantee. If you’re a no-limit fan then there’s plenty in the schedule to get you excited, but there’s also a number of exclusive Rush Poker events and Multi-Entry tournaments, not to mention the Double and Triple Chance tourneys. There will also be a number of Re-Entry tournaments, which include the opening and main events, and these will allow you to take another seat in the tournament if you’re knocked out while late registration option is still available.
In addition to all of this you can look forward to Irish, 5-Card Stud and Escalator tournaments, plus 5-Card Omaha, 6-Card Omaha and Courchevel, the three latest poker formats to be added to Full Tilt’s repetoire.
As usual the highlight of the fifteen-day festival is the 2-day Main Event which commences on Sunday, August 18, with a $635 buy-in and a $1.5 million guarantee. Satellites have already begun for this and all the other events over on Full Tilt and can be located in the main lobby.
In addition to the huge sums of money on offer, everyone who makes a final table will receive a limited-edition FTOPS jacket, while event winners also get a gold FTOPS jersey, plus the much coveted gold-jersey avatar.
Keeping things interesting throughout the series, the player who finishes at the top of the FTOPS XXIII Leaderboard will also earn a custom designed Full Tilt Poker avatar and a special prize package worth around $11k, which includes entry to every FTOPS XXIV event apart from the two-day Main Event.
MiniFTOPS is also back and like previous series, it gives players with smaller bankrolls the opportunity to play the same great tournament structures for a tenth of the buy-in.
Finally, Full Tilt has announced the introduction of the “Bouncebackability” Freeroll. Every player who bubbles an event will be given entry into an exclusive freeroll with a buy-in to the FTOPS XXIV Main Event up for grabs. The “Bouncebackability” freeroll is scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 24th.
