It’s official Tom ‘Durrrr’ Dwan and Viktor ‘isuldur1’ Blom will both be joining Gus Hansen as Full Tilt Red Pros when the site relaunches next month!
The pair who have been involved in some of pokers most legendary battles now find themselves on the same side, sort of, which should make for some interesting match-ups in the future…
Blom who only recently parted ways with PokerStars has been an online sensation ever since he first arrived albeit anonymously on the high-stakes scene, and his hyper-aggressive fearless style has won him lots of fans. “I always loved playing on the Full Tilt Poker software,” said Blom, “it is where I made my name and enjoyed some of my greatest victories. When they approached me about joining the team I knew this was the right fit for me.”
Since ‘isuldur1’ revealed his true identity back in 2011, Blom has also enjoyed an impressive live career, the highlight being his PCA $100K Super High Roller victory at the start of this year for just over $1.25 million, he also has earned himself several EPT side event final tables and a few WSOP cashes.
Dwan who was a Full Tilt Red Pro before the site went down commented “I’m very excited that Full Tilt Poker is re-launching. I think it is great for poker and I’m excited to be a part of it. Commenting on ‘Durrrr’, Full Tilt Poker’s Head of Marketing Sarne Lightman replied: “Tom is one of the most feared and respected players in the world today. His exploits at the Full Tilt Poker tables generated a huge following in the poker community and we are thrilled to bring that action back for our players.”
Lightman went on to complement all three of Full Tilt’s newly appointed ambassadors: “In choosing our Pros we approached the three poker players whose unique and innovative styles have had the most impact on how modern poker is played.”
We wonder who will be next…
