The second coming of Full Tilt continues to gain momentum as the site announces its quarterly tournament series the FTOPS will be returning in December. According to the Poker Room Manager, Shyam Markus the upcoming series is scheduled for December 2-16 assuming the re-launch goes smoothly next month.
Outside of the WCOOP and SCOOP, Full Tilt’s major online series is the highlight of the year for serious tournament players around the world and after such a long absence the December series is sure to attract lots of players and a huge amount of attention. The last FTOPS was held in May 2011, shortly after Black Friday and numbers were understandably severley down. Should it go ahead, FTOPS XXI could be the biggest online event of the year.
Like its PokerStars equivalent there is a wide range of events and different games played and each with varying size of buy-in. The exact schedule for series is expected to be revealed as soon as the site is relaunched with satellites starting soon after.
