EPT sells out

All 400 seats are taken for January's European Poker Tour tournament in Copenhagen

The European Poker Tour goes from strength to strength with the news that the Copenhagen leg has sold out all 400 seats. No more direct buy-ins or alternates will be accepted for the four day poker tournament, scheduled for 17-20 January.

"The tickets went on sale last Thursday and by Friday they had all gone. I was expecting the event to sell out because we’ve had full houses at the Barcelona and London EPT events, and Copenhagen is always very popular. But I was still shocked that, despite increasing the capacity by 112, the seats have gone so quickly."

"Anyone looking to secure seats for the remaining EPT events had better move fast", says John Duthie EPT Chief Executive

The Copenhagen EPT Scandinavian Open, the fifth stage of the European Poker Tour Season 3, will take place at the Casino Copenhagen at the SAS Radisson Hotel Scandinavia 17-20 January, 2007.

Players from all over the world, including Luca Pagano (Italy), Isabelle Mercier (Canada), Katja Thater (Germany) and Tom McEvoy (USA) from Team PokerStars will compete for a prize pool of 15,000,000 Danish Kroner (approaching €2,000,000).

The three remaining events of EPT Season 3 are the EPT Scandinavian Open in Copenhagen, Demark (17-20 January), French Open in Deauville, France (20-24 February), and the EPT Grand Final in Monte Carlo (28 March – 1 April). Players can qualify for all of these three events on PokerStars.com from as little at $5.50.
