Paddy Power have announced prices and markets for the European Poker Tour in Dublin
Paddy Power today launches ‘outright betting’ and ‘to make final table’ markets for the European Poker Tour’s fourth outing of the 2006/7 season in Dublin.
The Irish bookie is pricing up markets for each stop of the European Poker Tour which includes stopovers in London, Dublin, Copenhagen, Baden, Deauville and Monte Carlo.
The Dublin EPT event, held in the Regency Hotel from 26-29 October 2006, is one of the most popular on the tour, selling out last year and increasing its capacity to 500 this year.
Paddy Power, head of communications for the bookmakers said, ‘We lost our shirts at the last big Dublin tournament, the Irish Open, and while we are hoping to make a few euro this time around we’d love to see an Irish player win this. If one does, the pints of Guinness will be on him!’

Last year’s winner, Mats Gavatin, took down the first prize of €317,000. Other notable names who made the final table in Dublin last year include Michael Greco and David ‘Dpommo’ Pomroy.
