Deliverance Poker drops case against Full Tilt Poker but continues pursuit of November Niner Michael Mizrachi
In September, the Texas-based company claimed that Mizrachi jumped ship towards the later stages of this summer’s WSOP Main Eevent, appearing in a Full Tilt badge at the Rio despite signing a pre-tournament deal with Deliverance Poker.
Lawsuits levied against Full Tilt parent company Tiltware LLC and ‘The Grinder’ revealed that Mizrachi was handed a $150,000 cheque, 1.75% interest in the company and an unspecified number of tournament buy-ins for representing Deliverance.
Subsequent restraining order requests against Mizrachi and Full Tilt were dismissed in court and on October 8th, Deliverance ‘voluntarily’ dropped all charges against Tiltware ‘without prejudice’.
But with the WSOP Main Event final table just round the corner, and Mizrachi inline for another bumper payday in what has been a stellar 2010 for the star, Deliverance Poker will have to sit back and watch as The Grinder and Full Tilt take their charge at the title.
