David Johnson secures GUKPT Blackpool

Brit pockets £67,750 first prize

David Johnson has won the penultimate leg of the GUKPT in Blackpool, adding a third title to his name after a string of cashes in 2010.

Johnson took home £67,750 after besting the 246-strong field, but needed to claw his way back from a 2-1 chip deficit to overcome second place finisher Richard ‘Strummer9’ Herbert, as he recorded his eight GUKPT cash of the year.
