Ladbrokespoker.com have arranged a star-studded online tournament for Children in Need night

It’s that time of the year again in the UK, and Ladbrokespoker.com are doing their bit for charity and are lending Children In Need a ‘helping hand’ with a difference, by hosting an online charity poker tournament on 16th November to raise funds for the kid’s charity.

A number of sporting celebrities have been invited to play the tournament which starts at 20:30 will cost $5.00; about £2.50 to play (there’s an option to re-buy chips for half price if players lose them early on in the game), with all proceeds going to charity and Ladbrokespoker.com matching the donation raised up to $5000. In addition to this, players who are the top three contributors in the tournament will bag themselves a Ladbrokes Poker Chip Set.

David Briggs, MD of Ladbrokes eGaming commented " It’s a win-win scenario, players get to support a very deserving charity and at the same time can enjoy pitting their poker wits playing against top ranking European poker player. You never know, you might find yourself playing against poker playing sporting personalities and celebrities and pick up a few tips along the way in this unique tournament!"

Whoever plays their cards right on the night, will win a pair of exclusive VIP tickets to the Ladbrokespoker.com dinner and overnight stay at the prestigious Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square on December 15th to watch the televised Poker Million V finals (A prize worth over one thousand pounds). David Briggs, continued: "This charity tournament proved very popular with poker players last year raising $2,500 for Children In Need, which Ladbrokespoker.com matched and we’re hoping this will be doubled this year. It’s something that the staff was keen to organise again. It’s a bit of fun in the name of a good cause. This is an opportunity for everyone to give something to a cause that cares for the future, the children!"

Ladbrokespoker.com has pledged that they’ll match the money raised up to the princely sum of $5000! To register your support log on to Ladbrokespoker.com to find out more details.
