The Fourth annual CPC held in the Caribbean paradise of St. Kitts is set for the end of November
The clocks going back and winter nights drawing in the UK are a great reason to crank up the computer and play some online poker, and have a crack at qualifying for those big live tournaments played in exotic locations.
One such tournament is the Caribben Poker Classic – with the fourth CPC slated for 26 November – 3 December 2007 at the exclusive St. Kitts Marriott Resort and Royal Beach Casino.
Qualification is open on William Hill, Sun Poker, InterPoker, DTD and Littlewoods among other sites, with an estimated 250 seats up for grabs. These eager 250 will be joined by approximately 100 more players, who will buy-in to the event.
The $6000 + $300 buy-in main event is the blue ribband competition, and the tournament will be directed by Thomas Kremser, with players expected from the UK, Scandinavia, the US and beyond.
In addition to the guaranteed $1,000,000 prize pool for the Main Event, there will be plenty of action-packed side tournaments, satellites and cash games.
Side events will include three satellite tournaments to win seats to the Main Event; five side-events scheduled at 2pm and 8pm, with buy-ins from $200 to $1000; a Champion of Champions Invitational freeroll; and a Women’s Only event.
This has been a great event in the past, and the 2007 edition looks set to continue the tradition.
