Bord wins Marrakech High Roller

After shocking the poker world with his WSOPE victory last month, England’s James Bord has won the Marrakech Poker Cup High Roller event for $247,000 ahead of a star-studded field.

Just 13 players stumped up the $50,000 buy-in, but a concentrated field, which included high-stakes pro David Benyamine, fell by the wayside as Bord went on to beat Robert Mizrachi heads-up for his second title in less than 20 days.
