Bookmaker heads the running as Irish Open betting begins
The Irish Open poker tournament will be held in Dublin over Easter on April 15-17 and bookmaker Paddy Power is already taking bets on the outcome.
As some of the best players in the world gather for the Texas Hold ‘Em tournament, which is Europe’s oldest, Paddy Power will offer competitive odds and reward punters with a great value money back special.
The tournament is one of the richest in Europe with a €1 million guaranteed prize pool and €50,000 added by the sponsors, paddypowerpoker.com.
Continuing a tradition of great value, innovative and punter-friendly specials Paddy Power will refund outright bets placed before the start of the tournament for any player who makes the final table but does not win.
The final table of the event is being broadcast on SkySports 2 on Easter Monday at 9pm and betting in running will be available.
The outright event winner market is already open and as registrations progress a host of other markets will spring up. If a bet is placed on a player who does not play in the event, the stake will be refunded.
