Anyone can beat anyone in poker, that's the beauty of it, but a new event aims to give you the edge
‘Drop and give me 20!’ is not familiar language around the poker table but the trend for US Army style poker bootcamps has reached the UK with the launch of the BlondePoker School.
Your headmaster will be renowned UK professional player Dave ‘El Blondie’ Colclough, and he is inviting potential students to attend Europe’s first dedicated live school of poker, giving everyone the chance to learn poker ‘face to face’.
The BlondePoker School will aim to fast track the absolute beginner, granny or chairman the secrets it cost the pro’s years to learn.
The school is being promoted by the Poker Agency, which is run by regular UK player Catman, who says: ‘The game of Poker is the ultimate examination of character, where it all comes down to one of three decisions: call, fold or raise. What other options are there in business, war, love or life for that matter’.
The BlondePoker school will be the first of it’s kind in the UK, after numerous similar innovations in the US.
PokerPlayer News Editor Rick Dacey enrolled in Phil Hellmuth’s training camp in Las Vegas recently, read all about it in the magazine, before it appears on the website in the next couple of weeks.
