Ashes at Pokerroom

The Ashes is without a doubt the biggest sports story of the winter and at www.pokerroom.com poker players with a passion for cricket have the chance to win exclusive trips to the sold-out Boxing Day Ashes Test between Australia and England.

The site is holding four weekly tournaments from 30 October – 25 November, and entrants can compete for, or purchase, a place in a weekly final where the winner will claim an all-expenses-paid trip for two to the Melbourne Test Match.

A tournament ticket for each weekly qualifying tournament costs $ 12, with players competing for a place in the final to be held each Saturday. Alternatively, tickets for each final can be purchased for $ 108, providing an opportunity to compete directly for Ashes packages worth approximately £ 6,000 each.

The tournaments will be taking place on the following dates:

Qualifier: 30 October – 3 November Final: 4 November
Qualifier: 6 – 10 November Final: 11 November
Qualifier: 13 – 17 November Final: 18 November
Qualifier: 20 – 24 November Final: 25 November

The four tournament winners will travel to Melbourne on 23 December 2006, receive tickets to all five days of the match, and return to the UK on 2 January 2007.
