The Poker Show Live hots up as UK mouth _FullFlush_ challenges the mighty durrrr
Live online poker radio show, The Poker Show, presented by Jesse May and Padraig Parkinson, delved into the realms of high-stakes online poker last week with two of the biggest players in the online game, Tom “Durrrr” Dwan and Luke “_FullFlush_” Schwartz.
On Monday, Internet legend Durrrr called the show to discuss trips to Mexico with Phil Hellmuth, bracelet betting, _FullFlush_, and a new million dollar challenge exclusive. The following night, his sometime nemesis _FullFlush_ called in to discuss tilting Durrrr, being better than Phil Ivey, and how he doesn’t get enough respect.
Later in the evening an angry _FullFlush_ phoned back to defend his reputation and threatened to send everyone broke!
The interviews have created a sizable stir on online poker forums and The Poker Show will be keeping a close eye on the pair and catching up with them again in the future.
Durrrr has since challenged Schwartz to take him up on his 50,000 hands heads up challenge once Patrik Antonius and himself have finished their current battle. If Schwartz accepts the challenge from the online king he’d truly be putting his money where his mouth is.
Coming up on week three of The Poker Show are world pot-limit Omaha champion Marty Smyth, European Open champion Roberto Romanello, Hendon Mobster Joe Beevers, and Scandinavian phenom and bracelet winner Annette Obrestad. Guests on the show so far read like a who’s who of poker with Neil Channing, Vicky Coren, Andrew Feldman, Dan Harrington, Phil Hellmuth, Mike Sexton, Phil Laak, Rory Liffey, Liam Flood, ‘Mad’ Marty Wilson, Kara Scott, Donnacha O’Dea, Barny Boatman, and John Duthie.
