Isildur1 and Negreanu to face off

A week after losing his spot atop the all-time money winners list to Erik Seidel, Daniel Negreanu is hell bent on reclaiming some poker infamy. Kid Poker is set to do battle with Swedish high-stakes specialist Viktor ‘Isildur1’ Blom in what promises to be the most exciting SuperStar Showdown to date.

Taking place over two Sundays, Blom and Negreanu will each bring $150,000 to four tables of $50/$100 no-limit action. The duo will battle for 2,500 hands on Sunday, March 20 before meeting up a week later for another 2,500 hands oh high-stakes brutality.

The SuperStar Showdown has been all over Negreanu’s blog posts in the recent times, and the four-time WSOP bracelet winner seems intent on being only the second player to defeat the Swede since the challenge began late last year.
