New Home Games software on PokerStars

PokerStars’ new Home Games feature is hoping to bring old poker buddies back together in a virtual cardroom, by recreating the home or university tournie.

Up to fifty players can enter each room, which is private and only accessible by invitation from an appointed Club Manager. The rooms are also locked with a password.

The IP restrictions, seen elsewhere on the site, which prevent two players from entering the same table have been suspended on the new feature, so players from the same household can join.

Home Games is free to use and available now. And to mark its launch, PokerStars is offering a $10,000 prize to the person who can best explain on video why their own home game is the best.
