Multi-tabling pays…
If you’re just playing one table at a time you’re not making the most of your poker skills. It’s been ‘scientifi cally’ proven that the more profi table players play more than one table. Players playing between two and four tables do the best fi nancially, with four tables proving to be the most profi table. Any more than that and you’re onto a loser. The optimum bankroll to be playing with on one table at any one time is between 2% and 10%.

Swedes are best…
No big surprise to discover that Swedish poker players are the most profi table players online. Italian, Japanese and Australian players are the worst, so make sure you get your money in against them. But don’t get too smug – us Brits don’t come out too brilliant. We’re more likely to have longer sessions, play at smaller tables and use the chat facility more.

Cross dressing doesn’t pay
Of the online poker community 12% pretend to be a different sex when they’re playing. That might not surprise you that much, but it’s also been proven that online gender-benders are far less profi table than those who play as God intended.
