JC Tran
This man is on fire right now, and at 40 pts is the first name on the teamsheet. The Sacramento resident has over $5 million in tournament winnings and has already blazed his way through two WPT fields this year.
Phil Hellmuth
The Poker Brat lives for the World Series. Ever since that first Main Event win back in 1989, Hellmuth has been on a one-man mission to carve his name into WSOP history. 10 bracelets and counting.
Marc Goodwin
It stands to reason that with fewer US qualifiers, the travelling Europeans have a better chance of cashing and winning. Mr Cool is unflappable on the biggest of stages – plus he writes for us. Get him signed up!
Roland de Wolfe
A fearless tournament player with the titles to prove it. The only man with EPT and WPT victories, he badly wants the full house with a WSOP success. Don’t bet against the former gambling journo.
Joe Sebok
Another guy that comes alive at the World Series. Aside from his fancy dress and prop bet antics with partner in crime Gavin Smith, Sebok is an under-rated performer.
Bill Chen
We love Bill Chen. The maths genius had an astonishing WSOP last year, and although he comes in at a hefty 200 pts, he’s worth it. Just don’t ask us to explain the equations in his book.
Carlos Mortensen
Unlike most actual Matadors, Mortensen likes to keep a low profile. He’s hitting form just at the right time, and is hugely feared by other top-flight pros.
Ram Vaswani
Widely regarded as the most talented UK player out there, the Hendon Mobster is capable of breathtaking poker. If he gets his game head on, the cashes will follow. Worth the gamble.
Sorel Mizzi
Team PokerPlayer’s secret weapon. Online prodigy Mizzi has come in under the radar to final table the Irish Open, and go deep at recent WPT events. Not a household name, but soon will be.
Patrik Antonius
This man is always high up in the chip counts of every tournament he plays. Gifted, good looking and immensely successful, why wouldn’t you have him in your team?
