Searching for positive Phil Hellmuth videos on the internet isn’t as easy as you might think – he’s called the Poker Brat for a reason! A quick browse generally leads to pages and pages of blow-ups and rants, with only a few great bluffs or hero calls thrown in for good measure.

Imagine getting pocket Aces all-in preflop at a WSOP final table and NOT being ahead. The Poker Brat had to console himself with chopping up Brett Richey’s stack with Beth Shak in an incredible coup.
Hellmuth has made a record 49 final tables at the WSOP, and went on to finish sixth in this event for $76,464…

OK so it’s not from the WSOP but here’s a great hand from High Stakes Poker which Phil actually WINS. With not always the best record on this type of show, here’s proof that even Hellmuth gets a bit fortunate now and again…

2. Phil Hellmuth vs. Johnny Chan – WSOP 1989 Main Event
Old school poker alert! Hellmuth became the youngest ever WSOP Main Event champion in 1989 (until Peter Eastgate took that record from him), defeating Johnny Chan heads-up at Binions.
It wasn’t a seven-figure payday back then but just look at his happy face…
