The five most winning limit hold'em players at the WSOP
1. David Chiu, $1,024,270
Two of Chiu’s four WSOP bracelets came from limit hold’em events. He first cashed in a limit event in 1986, and won his first title ten years later.
2. Erik Seidel, $671,560
A main event runner-up, Seidel has two bracelets in limit events. He has also had several final table finishes with a run of 3rd, 4th and 5th place in 1997.
3. Hieu Ngoc Ma, $633,243
Ma has won two limit bracelets, most recently in 2000 when he took down the $2,000 event. He has almost $4 million in tournament winnings to date.
4. Phil Hellmuth, $603,475
The Poker Brat has two limit bracelets in 1992 and 1993. He narrowly missed out on a third when he finished second in the 1992 $2,500 limit event.
5. Eli Balas, $598,746
Eli Balas is the holder of two limit hold’em bracelets, which he won in 1999 and 2004. The Las Vegas-based pro has won over $1.3 million in his lifetime.
