Exciting new WPT format debuts this weekend
Our friends at the fantastic Aspers Casino in Westfield Stratford are hosting a brand new accumulator tournament that starts tonight. The £200 PartyPoker WPT National event gives players the chance to buy-in to as many Day 1 flights as they want (three in total) and any remaining chips are combined into one stack for Day 2.
The first flight starts tonight (October 24) at 8pm with the two remaining Day 1’s going off at 2pm and 8pm on Friday October 25. Although there are no re-entries allowed in the same ‘day’, this format will almost certainly provide punters more freedom and extra action.
And for those with a slightly smaller bankroll there is a £110 side event on Saturday at 7pm and a £80 Bounty event at 2pm on the Sunday. It should have a huge prizepool so if you’re not joining us for PPUKT Cardiff this weekend then this could be the tournament for you.
If it pans out anything like my football accumulators though, I certainly will not be troubling the prizes!
